If a class is full you can join the waitlist. If a place becomes avaiilable, you'll be contacted and given the opportunity to take the spot.

No shows are treated as late cancellations and the class fee will be forfeited. If you know you can't make it please cancel as soon as possible so someone else has the ability to take your spot.

What happens if I'm late?

We understand that traffic and parking can sometimes be tricky and other things out of control occur so we ask you to plan ahead to always be early to classes. Please be aware we have a 5 minute late policy. The instructor has the right to refuse entry if a client is late to class and the class credit will be forfeited.

This policy ensures clients are warmed up efficiently to prevent injuries and doesn't provide distraction to the instructor and other clients.

Your Body & Pilates

Can I do Pilates if I have an injury?

Many people with previous or current injuries can benefit from Pilates, but everyone's situation is different. Please disclose any injuries or relevant health conditions when booking so I can understand your needs and provide appropriate modifications where possible.

If you are currently seeing a physiotherapist or other healthcare professional, I recommend discussing your participation in Pilates with them. Alternatively, instead of  booking into our Mat Pilates group classes you can look at our Personalised Pilates Program service.

What if I'm pregnant?

If you're pregnant or recently postpartum, please let me  know before attending a class. Depending on your stage of pregnancy, previous experience with Pilates and individual circumstances, exercises may need to be modified We can cater for clients up to 16 weeks of pregnancy. Please speak with your healthcare professional before attending.

Can I do Pilates if I have never exercised before?

Yes. Pilates is a great way to begin incorporating movement into your routine. Exercises can be adapted to your current ability, and there is no expectation that you need to "keep up" with anyone else.

The Personalised Pilates Programs

What are personalised Pilates programs?

These are individually designed Pilates programs created around your body, goals, lifestyle and current abilities. They're particularly suited to people who prefer to exercise at home, aren't quite ready for a group environment, have specific movement needs or want a program that's tailored specifically to them.

What happens when I sign up?

You'll begin with your initial consult where we'll discuss your goals, movement history, lifestyle and anything else you'd like me to know.

You'll then be able to provide any relevant information from your physiotherapist or other healthcare professionals, where appropriate. I'll use this information to create your personalised program and guided videos for you to follow at home.

Is the program a one-off or ongoing?

Your initial program is just the beginning. We can schedule regular check-ins to discuss how you're progressing, make adjustments and develop your program as your strength, confidence and abilities change.
